World’s First 1080 & Youngest X Games Gold Medalist Tom Schaar

On March 26th, 2012, Skateboarding prodigy Tom Schaar made history by successfully landing the world’s first 1080. The trick involves three full aerial revolutions, and requires a lot of speed.

If that wasn’t enough he then went on to compete at the X Games Asia were he walked away with a gold medal in the MiniMega event making him the world’s youngest X Games gold medalist. I would say the future looks bright for this kid but lets face it his present is damn bright already.
